Planning for the best
/ Phase 1 /
In theory, the service was straight-forward. In practice, the platform was supposed to integrate a wide range of features. On top of the regular design and development tasks, we agreed with the client to develop a mobile app that will complement the standard services. We started our planning by putting together a solid wireframe, the foundation of everything we were going to create on this project.
User Experience Without Rival
/ Phase 2 /
We thought that users will most benefit from a simple interface with an airy and clean design, where the white background is almost like a statement for the idea of cleaning services. We also determined the optimal text/image ratio, inserting some oversized images and short videos. Otherwise, we focused on small design elements that outline each section of the website, as well as the options a visitor has at any given point.

We decided to implement a minimalist design, focused on specific content that would outline the most relevant information for the user. The clear and clean fonts, the big imagery used with moderation and the light color palette contributed to a simple and intuitive user interface.

The matchmaking platform between cleaners and users makes for a core element of the business. It basically allows potential clients to present their cleaning needs in detail and identify the most suitable cleaners for their area.
For this purpose, we designed a user-friendly and responsive job announcement website where matchmaking is a breeze for everyone.
Advanced payment integration
Payment options are something to naturally integrate with most online businesses. In this particular case, it was even more important because most of our efforts were on building trust. Payment was explained in all the essential details.
Aside from offering a wide range of payment options, we also introduced a comfortable money-back guarantee policy.

A perfectly functional booking system was essential. Clients had to know exactly who are they counting on. Cleaners had to know exactly what clients they have, where, when, and what services they will have to provide.
For this purpose, we implemented a 3-steps process based on Cleaning Details, Contact Details and Payment Options, offering the client full control.
Job progress live tracking
In the same direction of building trust, we went on to implementing a live tracking system. This custom feature would allow everyone involved to monitor the job progress at any given time, for easing any potential worries.
Live tracking on map was one of those features that raised consistent interest in the Get Set Clean business.

We worked intensively on providing customers with direct communication channels with the cleaners they contract. This option was essential, since most contracts target more than one-time cleaning job.
At the same time, we implemented a review system to allow clients express their appreciation of the services they received.

To make the business more accessible and the client more comfortable contracting a cleaning job from anyplace, anytime, we took it mobile. Our developers and designers created a mobile app that would basically provide all the essential functions of the website. Available both on App Store and Play Store, this app was received with high enthusiasm. The Get Set Clean customers now feel just as confident about booking their cleaning services via the mobile app as they are on the website version.

For a geographically oriented business that provides services in top UK cities and allows clients monitor job progress on the map, SEO with emphasize on local optimization was a must:
